Maine Cocker Spaniel Rescue
Quilt Raffle

The Lewiston/Auburn group of the Southern Maine Chapter of the Embroiderer's Guild of America has generously donated this beautifully crafted, lovingly stitched quilt for the MSCR to raffle in 2010. The quilt is done in the "redwork" style, though it is not in the traditional red as the group felt that blue was a better choice. The cockers are line drawings by Denise Pratt from actual dogs she knows, and are painstakingly stitched in stem stitch with floss. There is a label on the back of the quilt that every single person that worked on it signed. The quilt measures 4'-8" x 5'-9". We will be raffling through Thanksgiving 2010.

Buy a raffle ticket to win this beautiful quilt, and be an active part in the Maine Cocker Spaniel Rescue. Any monies raised go almost exclusively to pay vet bills for our cockers not yet placed in a forever home, so please, give generously. $1 per ticket, or $10 for 12! Click HERE for a .pdf file of the tickets to fill out and send with a check, or simply send a check made payable to MSCR to Denise Pratt, 174 Mountain Rd., Raymond, ME 04071, and she'll fill out the raffle tickets for you!
